Advanced safety features that help guide and protect
Volt features 10 air bags and smart sensors designed to adjust frontal air bag inflation according to the severity of a crash.
When the air bags deploy built-in sensors can automatically alert OnStar and a readily available advisor will connect to your vehicle to provide assistance. Even if you don't respond, an OnStar Advisor can use GPS technology to pinpoint your exact location and request that emergency help is sent right away.
Safety features are no substitute for the driver's responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Read the vehicle Owner's Manual for important feature limitations and information.
Technology All Around
Volt is packed with purposeful, intuitive technology.
Link your compatible iPhone to access your iMessages, Apple Music, select apps and more - all through the color touch-screen Chevrolet MyLink display.
The available built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot gives you and your passengers the ability to connect up to seven devices to the Internet via available Wi-Fi.
Available Android Auto compatibility lets you connect your compatible smartphone to access your calendar, playlists and select apps such as Google Maps.
myChevrolet Mobile App
Turn your compatible mobile device into a command center for your vehicle. Start/stop your engine and lock/unlock your doors with the tap of a finger. You can even send destinations to your available navigation system, view diagnostic information and set parking reminders from virtually anywhere. It's a simpler and smarter way to stay connected to your compatible vehicle.
A Powerful Tool for New Drivers
Teen Driver technology has a number of advanced features, from muting the audio until front-seat occupants are buckled, to automatically turning on available advanced safety technologies like Side Blind Zone Alert, Forward Collision Alert and Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking. The in-vehicle report shows how your teen performed so you can identify problem areas and coach your new driver on improvements.
With up to 53 miles of electric range, see how your commute could benefit from driving a Volt.
Combining smarts with power, Volt goes from 0 to 60 in 8.4 seconds. Give credit to its 1.5L direct injected high-efficiency engine and two electric motors. It runs on an electric charge and generates additional energy through a gas-powered generator when the battery runs out -giving you the confidence to go as far as you want. It's elegant, electric power that's unstoppable.
Up to 53-mile battery range
The average daily commute is only about 40 miles round trip. That means Volt offers enough battery range to make it from home to work, with range to spare for errands in between.
Up to 420 miles on a full charge
Not sure if 53 miles is enough for your daily commute? Volt has a backup plan. If you go over 53 miles, Volt intuitively and seamlessly switches over to use gas as energy to extend your range, giving you the peace of mind to go hundreds of miles further.
1,000 miles between fill-ups
Chevy expects owners will drive over 1,000 miles between fill-ups by charging regularly. This means weekly stops at the gas station could be a thing of the past, giving you the confidence to go as far as you want.
REGEN ON DEMAND
With a simple pull of the paddle on your steering wheel, you're able to slow down without using the actual brake pedal. This helps convert energy into more electricity and then transfers it back to the battery. Of course, you should still use the brake pedal if you need to stop immediately.
Want to know where you're using the most energy or how much charge you have left in the battery? All of that valuable real-time information is housed on the color touch-screen and Driver Information Center behind the steering wheel.
